Summary
The Pastry Cook prepares a variety of desserts, pastries and other sweet goods.
Key Job Functions Perform all prep as assigned by Pastry Chef
Properly set up station according to guidelines
Master assigned station and assist others as needed
Monitor food quality
Prepare dishes according to guidelines
Maintain cooking technique and presentation standards
Complete special projects and deep cleaning as assigned by Pastry Chef
Return all items to their zoned locations
Clean and Stock station before checking out with Pastry Chef
Properly set up station according to guidelines

Qualifications and Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. At least two years of previous pastry cook experience.
A Culinary Pastry degree or related hotel experience preferred.
Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate pastry cooking skills
Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associates.

Pay Range
Pay Range $17.50 - $18.00/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific experience/overall experience.
