About the Role:

We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support our on-site dispensary and infusion center operations. You'll work side-by-side with our Pharmacist and clinical teams to prepare and dispense medications, assist with insurance claims, and maintain pharmacy inventory while supporting a mission-driven organization that prioritizes patient dignity and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day pharmacy operations under the guidance of a licensed Pharmacist
  • Process prescriptions using an electronic pharmacy system (e.g., 1NRx)
  • Manage ordering and restocking of medications and supplies
  • Update patient records, insurance info, and reconcile claims
  • Coordinate with Benefits Coordinators to help patients access affordable medication
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, and clinical staff
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to clinical success and team goals
  • Maintain full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

What You Bring:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (State or Nationally approved by the Board of Pharmacy)
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nebraska Pharmacy Technician Registry
  • 2+ years' experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
  • Computer proficiency, including pharmacy management systems
  • A collaborative mindset, customer service skills, and keen attention to detail
  • Willing to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable communicating clearly with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Compassionate and team-oriented
