Job Summary: The Palms of Sebring is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to residents, helping them improve their ability to perform daily activities and achieve greater independence.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents.
Provide therapeutic interventions and adaptive strategies to enhance functional independence.
Collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate progress to families and caregivers.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
Educate residents, families, and staff on adaptive techniques and home exercises.
Qualifications:
Current OT licensure in Florida and NBCOT certification.
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
