Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA, this is a full-time, night shift position. Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. This includes assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education, and clearly documenting patient activities. Responsible for adult and geriatric patient's personal hygiene, ADL's, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assist patient with TC and DB, and use of incentive spirometer and providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients. They provide emotional support to their patients and document their interventions.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of patient rights.
- Knowledge of physiological changes that occur with patients age 55 plus.
Experience:
- Six months recent hospital experience required.
Education:
- Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.
Required Licensure/Certifications:
- Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification.
- Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
