Shift Type: PM Shift (3pm-11pm), with an every other weekend rotation

Salary: $19.00/hour - $25.50/hour based on experience + benefits

Part-time (2-3 shifts per week with an every other weekend rotation)

Must be able to attend a weekday orientation at 8am

A little more about our center: Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is an inner-city skilled nursing facility (SNF) with 5 floors and an average census of 160+. We have multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health (many formerly indigent) population.

The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders.

Many are able to age in place, and about 25% return to the community.

We have several programs encouraging engagement, but the most popular spot in our center is the game room.

We love new grads and work with students from multiple schools/universities in the area.

The Metra and the Green Line are just a few blocks away

What you will do in this role: In our facility we feel the CNA is pivotal to the satisfaction of a patient/resident. This is a predominantly behavioral health population - Come and make a direct impact on our patient's recovery and stay. You will help patients reach their goals and work side by side with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

You'll be joining an awesome Certified Nursing Assistant team; they do whatever is needed to make the patient more comfortable.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Sometimes called a Certified Nurse (or Nurse's) Assistant or Aide.

What we need from you:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in IL

Prior experience in a behavioral health or skilled nursing facility is ideal, but newly certified grads are welcome

Electronic medical records experience (Point Click Care) is helpful
