A competency-based State of Michigan Certificate approved by HSS is required with validation. Must be at least 16 years of age, actively enrolled in and attending high school. Work permit required. One to three months of related and/or on-the-job training is required in order to learn patient/resident care procedures and techniques. Approved CPR Certification PREFERRED High school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age with previous CNA experience.
