- Schedule: Evening Shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM 6:00 AM)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Pay Range: $17.00 $22.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- Location: South Jordan, UT
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Are you a compassionate and dedicated CNA looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive healthcare environment? We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time evening shifts at a reputable skilled nursing facility located in South Jordan, Utah.
This facility specializes in providing high-quality post-hospitalization care and rehabilitation services to ls to residents, ensuring a warm, compassionate, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist with residents mobility, positioning, and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes in residents condition to nursing staff.
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a manner that promotes their dignity and independence.
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments, ensuring infection control and facility protocols are followed.
- Assist in the documentation of care provided and participate in shift handovers for smooth continuity of care.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure residents' care plans are followed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
Qualifications:
- Active Utah CNA Certification in good standing.
- Current CPR Certification preferred (or willing to obtain).
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts (6:00 PM 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of elderly residents.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently under the supervision of licensed nurses.
