Pay: $19.00 per hour, up to $23.00 per hour for well-qualified applicants based on experience and education
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm (could also be 4 - 10-hour shifts per week 7 am - 5:30 pm)
In this full-time, permanent Certified Medical Assistant role, you will play a vital part in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting physicians and nurses with examinations, treatments, and procedures (phlebotomy, EKGs, level one labs)
- Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and handling patient inquiries
- Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and stocking supplies
- Collecting and processing patient specimens
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required

- Current Certified Medical Assistant certification is required - Preference is for Pennsylvania certification, but may consider from other states
- 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting
- 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting
-Must be responsible and demonstrate proficiency in three practice category specific tasks.
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and health administration
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
