This role partners with leadership to ensure new and existing employees are trained efficiently, follow SOPs, and meet quality and performance expectations. The Training Coordinator also supports continuous improvement, audit readiness, and compliance with McKesson policies and pharmacy regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead orientation and onboarding for new employeesEnsure understanding and adherence to McKesson policies and Workplace StandardsDevelop and manage individualized training plans in partnership with supervisorsTrack, document, and file all training checklists and sign-off formsSupport Pharmacy Technician licensing and renewal requirementsCoordinate with scheduling to ensure training hour requirements are metConduct observations to assess SOP adherence and training effectivenessEvaluate performance and quality at 30-, 60-, and 90-day milestonesPartner with supervisors on employee coaching and improvement plansPost weekly production and quality metricsReview and recommend updates to SOPs and training materialsSupport internal and external audit preparationMaintain reference guides and post regular employee communicationsParticipate in start-up and operational meetingsComplete additional projects as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDActive Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (PLA)Ability to obtain Minnesota Pharmacy Technician LicenseStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work flexible shifts (first, mid, second)Preferred Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointPrior training, onboarding, or coaching experienceStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsApproachable, patient, and effective communicatorPassion for employee development and continuous improvementWorking knowledge of McKesson Central Fill operations preferredWork Environment & Physical RequirementsOffice and production environmentAbility to stand for extended periods (5-6 hours/day)Ability to support order-filling activities as neededWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
