As a dedicated nighttime truck driver for Schneider Electric's logistical support to Target, you will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the efficient transportation and delivery of goods while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Your role will ensure that operations continue smoothly and effectively during nighttime hours, fulfilling our commitment to excellence and timely service. Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck during assigned night shifts. Load, transport, and deliver items to Target stores or client locations within a specific timeframe. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles as needed. Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle, including inspecting the truck before and after trips, and report any discrepancies or issues. Document and log work/rest periods, expenses, and vehicle movement in compliance with federal and state regulations. Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients regarding shipment processes. Proven experience operating heavy vehicles, such as tractor-trailer trucks. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Excellent time management to fulfill tight schedules. Good physical condition and endurance to manage demanding duties.
