Job Requirements: Support clients with personal care tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting according to their abilities and preferences. Assist with client mobility when needed using safe practices. Prepare and serve meals while considering individual dietary needs. Administer prescribed medications, monitor overall health, reporting changes to appropriate staff. Maintain a clean and organized living space, including laundry and general household cleaning tasks. Accompany clients on activities, social events, walks, and foster an environment of participation and inclusion. Provide emotional support and encouragement, respecting the dignity and autonomy of each person. Communicate openly with clients, staff, and owners regarding daily activities. Follow established protocols to ensure client safety and well-being at all times. Document care activities, observations, and any incidents, maintaining confidentiality and accurate records in a timely manner.

Other Experience and Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Have strong interpersonal communication, patience, and ability to solve problems quickly. Be able to work with sensitivity and understanding while maintaining respect for the privacy, rights, and choices of the clients. Caretakers will need to be able to stand for extended periods of time which can include bending, kneeling, squatting as well as assisting clients with movements if needed. Drivers license is not required but reliable transportation is a must.
