Part-time Teaching Faculty at City University of Seattle has  three key responsibilities: Striving for excellence in teaching and learning, Fostering student development, and Maintaining currency in their profession.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Master's degree in education, leadership, or related fields. Doctoral degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience in the K-12 school system. Teaching experience desired. Skills in addressing student academic-related issues and concerns in support of retention and student success. Culturally competent to serve a diverse student and faculty body. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to provide a learning experience that links application with formal learning and adult learning theory. Ability to work in a team-oriented system and deal effectively with professional staff, faculty, and culturally diverse students. Ability to present a professional image for the school and City University of Seattle. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and learning management systems in support of quality teaching and learning.
