For the Cafe Line Cook, this means preparing and cooking menu items efficiently and accurately, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and service line, collaborating with team members to keep food quality and presentation at Adams' high standards, and supporting a welcoming environment through timely and attentive meal preparation.

Your Day-to-Day Prepare and cook café menu items consistently and to quality standards Ensure food is presented attractively and served promptly Prepare daily specials according to recipe and quality guidelines Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and food prep Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service line Monitor ingredient and supply levels; notify management when restocking is needed Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures Collaborate with team members to support smooth kitchen operations Stay knowledgeable about the full café menu and cooking procedures What you bring to the Farm Minimum of two years of professional cooking experience; culinary education or formal training is a plus Commitment to preparing and delivering high-quality food consistently Friendly and respectful attitude toward both customers and team members Willingness to learn and embody Adams' culture and values Ability to follow kitchen procedures and safety guidelines accurately Strong teamwork skills with clear and open communication with coworkers and managers Enthusiasm for Adams' products, menu offerings, and dedication to quality Working Conditions Must be at least 18 years old Must work in a steady pace environment, typically during holidays and busy times of the day Safely use and operate all tools, knives, ovens, and any other equipment necessary Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift Communicate with others to exchange information Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined spaces

The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions - including skill sets, experience, training, certifications and other business needs.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $20.00 - $28.00. At Adams, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
