About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Business Support Specialist to join our North America Purchase to Pay (PTP) team. This hybrid role focuses on providing operational support and improving the customer service framework within the PTP department.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P) and P2P processes, be skilled at troubleshooting AP issues, and possess a strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance. Experience in pharmaceutical or other large, complex matrix organizations is a plus. Key Responsibilities Partner with the global Business Support team to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements and training opportunities. Standardize processes globally to ensure scalability for continued company growth. Manage expectations of internal stakeholders and provide actionable business insights. Maintain process integrity and compliance with SOX controls, the Controller's Manual, and applicable laws. Monitor and deliver on KPIs and service partnership agreements. Execute daily customer support activities using ticketing systems, reporting, and workflow management. Train and guide offshore teams and internal/external customers. Support strategic and cross-functional projects. Foster strong business partnerships, delivering a proactive and innovative support experience. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, OR Associate degree with 5+ years, OR High School diploma with 6+ years of relevant operational business support and customer service experience. Full-cycle Accounts Payable / P2P expertise with hands-on troubleshooting experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite : Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and experience supporting system-related issues. Solid understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance . Background in Financial Shared Services or business support operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry , or other large multinational organizations. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and ticketing/helpdesk systems. Prior experience in process improvement or supporting global finance operations. Skills and Competencies Exceptional customer service mindset and process excellence.
