Position Overview Are you passionate about connecting with people and building relationships? Do you excel in a fast-paced environment where your communication and storytelling skills shine? As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will engage prospective customers, qualify their needs, and connect them with our expert Designers. You will represent Ulrich values, highlight the benefits of our backyard solutions, and start every client journey on the right note. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound leads through calls, texts, emails, and walk-ins. Engage with prospects to build immediate, trusting relationships. Present Ulrichs value proposition and help clients identify their needs. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities. Identify client motivations (WHO and WHY) and urgency (WHEN). Redirect price-focused conversations to focus on client needs and Ulrichs process. Transition qualified leads to Designers with thorough notes and a seamless handoff. Schedule appointments using Google Calendar with clear communication to all parties. Explore new business opportunities through organic social listings and engagement (e.g., Facebook Marketplace). Follow up with no-shows and nurture stalled leads to create new opportunities. Maintain CRM data accurately and provide insights to the Sales Manager. Monitor and maintain the Design Centers cleanliness and appearance. Manage inventory of supplies and order as needed. Qualifications & Key Skills Previous experience as a top earner in sales preferred but not requiredwell train you if youre motivated to succeed. Hands-on experience with inbound and outbound sales techniques is a plus. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, phone-based sales environment. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs is a bonus. Tech-savvy with familiarity in CRM software and Google Suite. Outstanding communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Enthusiastic about delivering engaging and compelling product visions.
