As a Bilingual Retail Associate at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a crucial role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, answering inquiries about our extensive range of products, and providing tailored recommendations. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service, promptly resolving customer concerns, and achieving sales targets while maintaining the store's visual standards. This role is based at Store #5136, located at: 696B Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170, and may involve working at nearby stores within a 5-mile radius. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Assisting customers in person and via phone to determine their needs, presenting appropriate products and services. Building trusted relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions according to company policies. Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintaining precise work order files and formula records. Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tinting and mixing products to customer specifications. Stocking shelves and setting up attractive product displays. Cleaning store equipment and upkeeping store standards. Assisting with deliveries as required. Maintaining assigned areas in a neat and presentable condition. Staying knowledgeable about our products and discussing available options with customers. Complying with inventory control procedures. Proposing ideas to improve sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship for a work visa. Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in both English and Spanish. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Availability to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends. If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have received at least a meets expectations rating on the latest performance appraisal. If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your role. Preferred Qualifications: Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. A high school diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles. Prior experience in selling paint and paint-related products.
