Job Title: Inbound Call Center Representative - Healthcare
Location: Miramar, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17/hr.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Inbound Call Center Representative to join our healthcare support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients handling a wide range of inquiries related to their DME equipment and general healthcare services.
You will deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls from patients in a timely, courteous, and empathetic manner
Respond to inquiries about appointments, medical services, insurance coverage, and billing
Verify patient information and update records in electronic medical systems
Educate callers on company services, policies, and procedures
Route calls to appropriate departments when necessary
Document all interactions accurately in the system following each call
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy regulations
Meet or exceed performance metrics including call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction
Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on healthcare regulations, services, and systems
Qualifications:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or call center setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and call center software
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
