Bilingual Medical Assistant

A busy orthopedic practice in Laguna Hills is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Bilingual Medical Assistant with front office experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must! This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity, with pay starting at $23 to $26 per hour (dependent on experience), with the potential of an increase after 90 days of outstanding performance. The shift is Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM. Medical and legal terminology training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling new patients
• Verifying insurance
• Communicating with attorney's offices and insurance companies
• Handling heavy phone activity
• Willingness to process high volume of medical workers compensation paperwork
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
• Worker's Compensation experience is a plus!
