Salary Range:
Bachelor's Level = $50,003 - $60,008 annually
Master's Level Unlicensed = $58,011 - $69,618 annually
Master's Level Licensed = $66,040 – 79,217 annually
All levels based on relevant years of experience
Location: Larimer county, Colorado, mainly at the Centre location with possible coverage at both Wilson and/or Orchards
Status: Full time, 40 hours per week
Hours: Possible 5 - 8 hour shifts or 4 – 10 hour shifts depending on clinic needs
Role Overview:
Behavioral Health Therapists are clinicians embedded in our outpatient medical services and are responsible for providing assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy as well as case management. Develop and monitor service plans, treatment progress, document interactions and maintain clinical records and other reporting data for clients with mild to severe mental illness, disorders, and/or disabilities and substance use disorders.
Essential Duties:
Provide services to clients as assigned by Administrative/Clinical Supervisor.
Provide/facilitate a wide variety of individual, family and group therapeutic and rehabilitative activities to achieve goals of service/recovery/treatment plans and to prevent deterioration, and hospitalization.
Conduct crisis intervention via telephone and/or face-to-face. Intervene and de-escalate crisis situations with clients. Assess the risk of harm to self or others, create comprehensive safety plans, and arrange needed resources.
Observe clients in a variety of situations; assess mental status of client and formulate treatment plans and goals. Perform case management services as needed to assist clients to meet their goals as stated in their service/treatment plans. Refer clients to supportive services such as vocational, medical, social security, housing authority, etc.
Advocate for clients in many different forums including the federal, state and local court systems, with family, school system etc.
Assist clients in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills; educating clients to make informed choices; developing clients coping skills, helping clients to problem solve, and negotiating tasks of daily living.
Document treatment plans, progress reports, group notes, individual notes, case management notes, letters, faxes and phone calls.
Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment/recovery/service plans.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field from an accredited College or University required
More than two years of experience in the mental health field and program application required
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record
CPR and First Aid certifications may be required for certain locations
Highly Desired:
Master's degree in the Human Services field from an accredited College or University preferred
Experience in coordinating mental health intervention plans and services with other agencies preferred
CAT/CAS certification highly desired
Current Colorado professional license in appropriate discipline (LCSW, LPC, LAC, or LMFT) preferred
Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred
