Job Posting: WAVE Therapy is a growing psychotherapy practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate mental health services to individuals, couples, and families across San Diego and surrounding areas, as well as virtually throughout California. We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented, and highly organized Intake Representative to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This pivotal role is central to shaping the client experience from the very first interaction, helping to ensure a seamless and supportive onboarding process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep sense of empathy, clear communication skills, and the ability to navigate both clinical sensitivity and administrative precision.

This role is divided between two core functions: (1) Live call center support, where the representative will engage directly with new inquiries in a timely and compassionate manner; and (2) Administrative support, where attention to detail and coordination with our clinical, billing, and administrative teams are essential. We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in contributing to a practice rooted in integrity, collaboration, and client-centered care. Compensation & Schedule: We believe in transparency and want to ensure candidates have a clear picture of what we offer: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance available, with a modest employer contribution. 401(k) with company match to support long-term financial wellness. 48 hours of sick time provided annually (in accordance with California law). At this time, vacation PTO and paid holidays are not offered. Current compensation is set firmly at $21hr. Schedule: We are currently looking to fill 1 part-time position, and 1 full-time position. The shifts are as follows: 1:30 PM – 8:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break). 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break/Open to 7pm shift end with a 1hr lunch period).

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and comfortable working consistent weekday afternoon/evening hours.
