Pelican Grand Beach Resort is seeking to hire an enthusiastic, organically upbeat Barista/Retail Attendant to prepare and serve our customers at our retail shop & coffee shop. We are looking for that unique individual that loves to provide service with a bright smile!!!

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting all guests in an upbeat and professional manner Making coffees/specialty coffees Selling/Upselling items in retail shop Prepare & service ice cream/gelato to guests Replenishment of all food & beverage items. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the shop during operating hours (sweeping, sanitizing, wiping down areas on a consistent basis) Assist with monthly inventory, including counting, scanning, restocking, organizing. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Must be able to consistently provide excellent and engaging customer service Experience in espresso bar service is preferred but not required. 1 - 2 years of retail experience required. Ability to lift up to 20lbs. Excellent customer service skills Ability to stay calm in a fast paced and sometimes stressful situations with guest Flexibility to work hours that may change based on the season or business needs Ability to learn new recipes and techniques Ability to work well as part of a team or as an independent contractor Ability to work well under pressure Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)

$13.00/per hour Plus Tips can average $18ph
