Job purpose
As Associate Performance Lead, you will drive full-funnel performance across Amazon for Nexxus and Tresemme, optimizing media, content, and portfolio strategy to deliver measurable growth. You operate within the Media & Retailer Marketing team, enabling Unilever’s transformation toward performance-led, consumer-centric retail marketing.
What will your main responsibilities be
Drive Full-Funnel Performance: lead the performance agenda for Nexxus and Tresemme on Amazon, managing media, content, and portfolio levers to deliver against KPIs like ROAS, margin, and share growth. Use Excel and other tools to analyze data, identify trends, and inform strategy, optimizing execution across the consumer journey.
Lead Retail Media Activation: own planning, activation and optimization of Amazon Ads across search, display, and audience targeting. Ensure media investments are efficient, effective, and aligned to business goals—balancing spend with return.
Enable Portfolio Growth: collaborate with brand, finance and sales teams to bring innovation to life, expand core assortment and optimize for profitability and consumer relevance.
Optimize the Digital Shelf: enhance brand presence and conversion through content excellence, site merchandising, and promotional strategy—leveraging tools and analytics to continuously improve performance.
Operate as a Business Owner: manage budgets, analyze POS and media data, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results. Apply operational rigor and strategic thinking to make data-backed decisions.
Champion Competitiveness: monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to ensure Unilever’s Hair Care brands are set up to win. Lead deep dives and translate insights into action plans that drive growth.
Collaborate & Influence: work across brand, category, media, and customer teams to align strategies and unlock synergies. Be a subject matter expert who asks the right questions and pulls the right levers.
Experience & Qualifications
What you will need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
3+ years in Brand Marketing, Digital, or eCommerce.
Proven expertise in Amazon Ads and retail media platforms.
Experience with tools like Circana and Numerator.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and comfort working with datasets.
Demonstrated success in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
