PURPOSE
The Associate Manager, Operations Systems is responsible for assisting and supporting the implementation and maintenance of back-office operations systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
- Assist in training and development of operational systems
- Maintain accurate databases including recipes, plating, new ingredients, inventory, vendor information, and labor rules & rates
- Responsible for follow up on weekly/monthly financial reporting:
- Food and Liquor cost control reports and analysis
- Recipe and plating validation
- Labor weekly results and productivity analysis
- Assist restaurant managers in posting and any related troubleshooting
- Manage the restaurant inventory processes, including accuracy and auditing of the inventory
- Maintenance of vendor’s order guide within internal systems, including prices auditing
- Conduct coaching and training sessions with restaurant support staff and field management, as needed
- Document company policies and processes compliance
- Conduct restaurant administrative audits
- Perform site visits to restaurants to enhance their product knowledge and evaluate their success using the systems
- Complete assigned projects and research as defined by the department head and field supervisors
- Assist in monitoring 80/20 product pricing and associated trends and upward spikes in the pricing of such items
- Perform other duties/ tasks/ projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Knowledge of training methodologies with an ability to build training programs
- Ability to troubleshoot and to teach troubleshooting skills
- Organized, detail-oriented with strong delegation skills
- Full-service restaurant experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to create, read, and analyze spreadsheets of statistical data
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 21+ years of age
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
