Schedule: Onsite | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Basic Qualifications Associate degree OR High school diploma / GED and 2 years of experience OR Certification directly related to the role and 2 years of experience Top 3 Must-Have Skill Sets Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, use of hands, walking, bending, kneeling, sitting, and occasionally moving materials up to 50 pounds Desire to be a team player in a dynamic, cross-functional environment Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Entry-level candidates with an animal-related background preferred (not required) Day-to-Day Responsibilities Processing equipment through cage wash Changing cages Cleaning Performing health checks Job Description Operate animal husbandry-related equipment such as cage wash, autoclave, laminar air flow cabinets, and other equipment Routinely wash, autoclave, and prepare caging and equipment Provide care for laboratory animals Provide husbandry and perform cage change procedures Perform and report daily health observations, including handling and restraint of laboratory animals (notably rodents) Maintain and organize laboratory spaces using 5S and lean management principles to support research success Provide supplies and support for investigators conducting scientific experiments
