Established fast-paced firm where associates thrive because of their access to unparalleled training and the autonomy to run their own cases, is looking to add a Casualty Litigation Associate Attorney to their team. Successful candidates will have no less than 3 years and no more than 7 years of civil litigation experience in the areas of casualty, premises or product liability or complex litigation. Associates enjoy a structured mentoring program, monthly, in-house training programs, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to work closely with partners who are willing and eager to provide new challenges. The position is full-time and onsite at the firms’ Tampa, Florida office.
In this position Associates:
will be responsible for high exposure litigation cases from inception to trial with the supervising partner.
will be conducting accident scene inspections with experts, drafting reports and analyzing liability, causation and damages.
will conduct depositions, attend hearings and argue motions.
will be responsible for interviewing witnesses, expert depositions, negotiations with opposing counsel, and conducting legal research.
Qualifications:
Must have a Florida Bar license in good standing
· Must have 3-7 years litigation experience in in casualty, premises or product liability or complex litigation
Must have strong academic credentials
Must have the ability to handle files from inception to trial
Must have experience with depositions, hearings, meditations and trial.
Must have excellent legal research and writing skills.
Must have exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
