Summary:
The Assistant Vice President of the Data and Integrity Team will work on the day-to-day function in ensuring accuracy, efficiency of Static and Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) data setups, as well as Collateral Support Annex (CSA) terms, MSFTA and MRA/GMRA terms within the Collateral platform. This role demands a control-oriented mindset, strict adherence to firm-wide policies, and the ability to develop and implement robust desk procedures. The AVP will support the Vice President in driving strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to uphold data integrity and operational excellence within the Collateral Management space.
Key Responsibilities:
Static and SSI Data Management:
Maintain and validate static and SSI data in collateral systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Support reconciliation processes and resolve data discrepancies.
Assist in automating data workflows to improve efficiency.
Agreement Setup:
Support the configuration of CSA, GMRA/MRA and MSFTA terms in collateral systems, ensuring alignment with legal agreements.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to validate setups and address issues.
Monitor CSA-related processes to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Control Mindset and Compliance:
Adhere to firm-wide controls, policies, and procedures to minimize operational risks.
Conduct quality checks and support audits to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Identify control gaps and propose solutions to enhance processes.
Desk Procedure Development:
Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining desk procedures for collateral operations and data management.
Ensure procedures are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with firm-wide standards.
Train junior team members on procedures and monitor compliance.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the VP and team members to achieve team objectives.
Collaborate with technology, risk, and front-office teams to support data and collateral processes.
Provide input on process improvements and system enhancements.
Operational Excellence:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for collateral operations and data integrity.
Support the implementation of technology solutions to streamline processes.
Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in collateral operations, with hands-on experience in static/SSI data setups and CSA agreement management.
Strong understanding of collateral management systems and processes.
Knowledge of firm-wide controls and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience contributing to desk procedure development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Proficient in Excel and familiarity with other automation tools (SQL).
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or Basel III.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
The expected base salary ranges from $82,000 - $110,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
