Assistant Store Manager/Key Carrier

Designed to drive comp sales through consistent leadership of daily priorities in order to create a great customer and associate experience. Ensure: leaders are visible on the sales floor at all times. Effective two-way communication takes place between management and associates. Tasks are completed in a timely manner. Associates are happy and more productive, resulting in a great in-store experience for Associates and Customers.

This position coordinates the work of Customer Service Associates. This position has no direct budgetary accountability. Essential Functions include: providing positive customer service, adhering to assigned work schedule, following all company policies, and performing various store functions including unloading trucks, processing freight, stocking counters, reviewing daily staffing, workload planning, evaluating recovery needs, conducting recovery blitzes, monitoring the fitting room, selling floor, and sizing recovery, communicating cleanliness expectations, conducting effective hand off to incoming MOD, and providing support to store management as requested.

Qualifications and Skills Required: High School diploma or GED, 1-2 years of related experience in retail customer service, fundamental reading and math skills, and the ability to effectively communicate in English.

Working Conditions: Retail store environment where extended periods of standing are required, retail store stockroom environment subject to fluctuations in temperature, occasional lifting and maneuvering of merchandise and displays, exposure to dust and extreme temperatures while unloading trailers, scheduled work hours may vary, to include evenings and weekends, occasional use of ladders required.
