Job Duties & Responsibilities Hire and build strong teams by partnering with the Executive Director or Common Purpose Director to create targeted hiring strategies, actively recruiting within the community to ensure the team reflects the communities served. Manage performance through standard procedures, handling discipline, appraisals, performance concerns, and making recommendations regarding termination and advancement. Manage team members in assigned departments (Apparel, Footwear, Hardlines) and serve as Head Coach or MOD for other areas. Lead through coaching and development, providing in-the-moment coaching and creating opportunities for leaders to identify and act on opportunities. Implement training initiatives, facilitate teammate conversations, conduct workshops, and role plays to ensure team meets athlete needs. Partner with peers to deliver a great athlete experience in specialized areas such as Rockwall, MultiSport Cage, Fitting Room, Golf Services, etc. Service Use operational tools to analyze data, uncover business trends, and build strategies to maximize ROI, control expenses, and drive sales. Build effective schedules using Legion guidelines, workload planner, and budget to serve athletes effectively. Communicate the company's vision, aligning team responsibilities with organizational goals. Empower teammates to identify challenges, troubleshoot solutions, and understand the reasons behind actions. Meet sales and profitability budgets across all P&L categories, metrics, and overall store results. Community Create opportunities for community involvement, host events, support volunteer activities. Recruit within the community to ensure team reflects local demographics. Stay informed on industry and competitor trends to better serve athletes. Support in-store events with Experience and Community Teams. Product Ensure key strategies from CSC partners are executed to drive sales. Oversee seasonal planning and execution of visual standards. Regularly walk the store to assess and improve visual standards based on sales trends. Educate and empower team members to be product and operational experts, celebrating achievements and growth. Leadership Drive overall store financial performance, including sales, expenses, and P&L management. Prioritize training, coaching, and development, fostering accountability and high energy. Maintain a people-first culture, building trust and respect, and creating an inclusive environment. Lead and develop a large workforce, ensuring high performance and engagement. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent 1-3 years of retail management or customer-focused experience Location-specific requirements may include state-mandated clearances for minors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
