The Assistant Store Manager at Cosentino's Price Chopper #157 in Lee's Summit, MO, is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in Management of daily operations, ensuring a positive customer experience, and achieving sales goals through effective Coaching and Selling Techniques . This role also involves Planning and Decision Making to optimize store performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, including ** Operations** and Merchandising.

  • Provide exceptional Customer Service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

  • Implement and monitor Sales Strategy to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.

  • Lead and motivate a team through effective ** Coaching** and Leadership, fostering a positive work environment.

  • Utilize Selling Techniques to train and develop sales staff, improving their performance.

  • Participate in ** Planning** and Forecasting sales trends to optimize inventory and staffing levels.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • General knowledge of Management principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Possession of a Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role.
