Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are accountable for driving store results by executing daily operations, developing the team, and ensuring the store meets or exceeds all financial, operational, and customer targets. You partner with the Store Manager to lead people, enforce process, and deliver performance. Your role is measured by your ability to hit the strategic outcomes tied to Gross Profit, NPS, Inventory Execution, and Cycle Counts.

Duties

Sales Financial Performance
Sales Leadership: Actively lead on the sales floor and service counter drive e-bike leadership, top-down sales, and $250 add-on sales per bike.
Customer Experience: Ask every customer if their experience was 100% satisfactory; close the loop with proactive follow-up.
Profitability: Partner with the Store Manager to deliver Gross Profit targets on time, protect margin, and hit labor efficiency guardrails.

Team Staff Performance
Training Development: Implement and validate all staff training in sales, service intake, Ascend POS/HQ, and company policies.
Coaching Accountability: Role-play weekly, reinforce Cardone University training daily, and ensure consistent execution of sales and service standards.
Culture Values: Model 100% alignment with company DNA and values; hold team accountable to the same.

Operational Excellence Inventory Management:
Ensure 100% of deliveries are received, checked in, and floor-ready within 24 hours; complete cycle counts on schedule and according to Policy Procedure.

Merchandising Store Standards:
Maintain a professional, accessible, and inviting store through disciplined merchandising, signage, and BOH organization.
Compliance Reporting: Provide weekly inventory feedback (MIN/MAX, discrepancies, part needs) and ensure supplies and processes align with company standards.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Bicycle Industry Experience. Prior success in bicycle sales, service, or management.
Financial Acumen. Strong comfort with reporting, analytics, and interpreting PL beyond surface-level metrics.
Technology Fluency. Skilled with Microsoft products, POS, and retail systems (Ascend experience a plus).

This position requires open availability and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business. Our season runs from November 1st through March 31st. To ensure that we meet our customers’ expectations during this busy time, we have implemented a vacation blackout period.Employees cannot schedule more than 3 days of PTO due to an expected increase in traffic.We understand that special circumstances may come up and we will do our best to accommodate our team.
