The Opportunity
We are seeking a construction professional with experience on large-scale projects ($20M+) to join the team as an Assistant Project Manager. This position offers direct exposure to both the administrative and field sides of construction management, working alongside seasoned leaders in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
You will be the main on-site point of contact for the project, working closely with the Project Superintendent and Executive Project Manager to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with estimating during preconstruction to review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Create scopes of work that capture both company and contractual standards.
Manage procurement of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document flow.
Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
Monitor budgets, schedules, and quality benchmarks.
Support field operations by partnering with the Superintendent on daily site activities.
Foster positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
3-5+ years in construction project management (multifamily preferred, wood-frame experience a plus).
Experience with projects $20M+.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore experience ideal).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record of problem-solving and delivering results under pressure.
