Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager for our Labor and Delivery department. This role involves working 36 hours per week during the day. You will be pivotal in enhancing the delivery of exceptional patient care and leading nursing staff in our dynamic healthcare environment. Location: Malden Bridge, NY, United States Salary Range: $86,650.99 - $134,309.04 Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with nursing leadership to manage operations, planning, and administrative duties. Mentorship and support of nursing staff to ensure competent and compassionate patient care. Facilitate patient access and transitions throughout their acute care stay. Provide visible leadership and guidance during your primary work shift. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and programs. Work with other leaders to achieve short- and long-term departmental goals. Qualifications: Education: Baccalaureate in Nursing is required; Master's in Nursing is preferred. Must possess current New York State Registered Nurse registration or be eligible for licensure in New York State. Experience: Management experience is preferred. Communication Skills: Must communicate effectively at all organizational levels and foster a collaborative environment within the healthcare team. Professional Skills: Demonstrate accountability for decisions, utilizing strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. A commitment to coaching and mentoring staff is essential.
