Position Overview: The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing the operational and financial aspects of patient care. You will work closely with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division to ensure high standards of care are met. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and support for nursing staff during the primary shift. Ensure competent and compassionate care for patients and effective communication with referring facilities and hospital staff. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and services. Collaborate with service and department leaders to achieve both short- and long-term goals. Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s in Nursing is preferred. Candidates must hold a current New York State Registered Nurse license or be eligible for licensure. Experience: Management experience is preferred. Communication Skills: Must possess effective communication abilities to engage with all levels within the organization and foster a collaborative healthcare environment.
