We actively encourage military applicants. Role Overview Pilot Flying J is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee our bustling retail facilities. You will be instrumental in developing and executing business plans for the travel center and restaurant operations, ensuring that we meet our sales and profit objectives while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. As an Assistant Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded Conducting effective meetings with your team Maintaining strong relationships with vendors Additionally, you will have a vital role in building, coaching, managing, and developing your team from staffing to training. Other important responsibilities include: Driving sales and increasing revenue Managing and mentoring team members Tracking inventory levels Providing top-notch customer service Performing analysis on profit and loss Compensation Pay rates start between $48,700.00 - $70,565.00 per year. Qualifications To thrive as an Assistant Manager, you must demonstrate integrity, accountability, and exceptional leadership skills. A flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
