Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining the restaurant's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise and support front-of-house staff, ensuring efficient and friendly service.
Operational Oversight: Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Customer Service: Address guest concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction.
Staff Development: Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role 5 years preferred within the restaurant industry.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Italian cuisine, wine and fine dining service standards is a plus.
Availability: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Education: High School equivalent required, College degree preferred.
