D1 Training Arlington Heights is an athletic-based group training facility for adults and youth athletes aged 7 and up, with a mission to provide the best fitness philosophy and facilities to its athletes, empowering them to improve themselves by efficiently and consistently reaching their fitness goals.
Key Vision For Position
This position will have a significant focus on sales and recruitment of new members, developing and maintaining relationships with existing members, and providing operational support to the D1 Training team.
The primary responsibilities will be on maintaining high levels of customer service by handling daily interactions and communications with both prospective and existing members. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively, as well as positively representing the D1 brand in the community. Must be a self-motivated, team-oriented person with a passion for sports/fitness. Sales experience and management is required. This role is part-time, approx. 20 hours per week. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, when needed.
Responsibilities
Making outbound calls daily to leads with an emphasis on speed to contact
Nurturing leads through the sales process.
Making sure all client notes and contacts are logged and managed correctly.
Able to prescribe and sell the correct service based on the client's needs/goals.
Sales & Marketing Support
Support the General Manager in achieving membership sales goals, including conducting tours, promoting membership packages, and assisting with lead generation and conversion.
Help implement and promote marketing initiatives and special events to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Communication & Reporting
Maintain clear and consistent communication with the General Manager and other team members.
Generate and review daily/weekly/monthly reports related to gym operations, membership metrics, and financial performance.
Assist in preparing and presenting performance updates to senior management.
Qualifications
Must be a high-energy individual.
Must have 2+ years in sales
Must have 1+ years in a customer service setting ideally in the fitness industry.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move equipment and supplies.
Ability to work in a gym environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
