Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that make the business flow. The Retail SMA Oversight team sits within Asset Management Operations and has primary responsibility of all operations functions for SMA portfolios, interacting with several groups including portfolio managers, sales, and client relationship professionals as well as with external vendors. This team is looking to add an experienced individual who will have responsibility to drive key initiatives relating to the development and implementation of our SMA strategy. This role will bring structure and coordination to multiple strategic projects to facilitate key decision making and on-time project delivery. This role requires autonomy in critical thinking, communication and organization. Responsibilities:
This is a highly collaborative role requiring the capability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal professionals, covering a wide variety of products and functions. The main areas of responsibility will be: Facilitate discussions regarding development of business plans, strategy, and project roadmaps based on an understanding of business drivers and stakeholder needs Drive scaled growth opportunities; define feature development, build consensus among stakeholders, and partner with engineers, designers and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that will unlock scale Define the right measures of operational risk; drive prioritization of initiatives and features and make informed trade off decisions. Provide a global view of the focus areas for the business and communicate to senior stakeholders Engage with operational teams / subject matter experts to have a thorough understanding of the operational processes, considerations and priorities across teams Engage and influence business intelligence prioritization discussions impacting SMAs Assist in continued development of a resourcing capacity model Ensure alignment of Service Level Agreement (SLA) goals Capture leadership input for creation and monitoring of operational KPIs Organize and create agendas for meetings across multiple initiatives; capture and track follow ups, instill accountability for assigned action items Qualifications: Experience with written and verbal communication to senior stakeholders Understanding of operational nuances is supporting a Retail SMA business Experience in organizing ideas, capturing requirements and action items to drive change Ability to design and document workflows and project requirements Understanding of data quality testing procedures Strong project management and experience with agile practices is a plus Portfolio accounting expertise with emphasis on tax lot accounting knowledge is a plus

In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
