This position serves as the point of contact for visual display items across the garden center and is an integral part of both the garden center crew and the Visual Merchandising Department. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service Manage register functions Review and implement display schematics Set up displays, focal points, and display gardens Re-merchandise end caps and seasonal displays Review monthly sales plans and promotional calendars for alignment Implement and follow merchandising standards Order and post store signage Analyze store layout and traffic flow Provide feedback and recommendations on store layout and merchandising Communicate effectively with team members Assist customers with carry-outs Learn about product lines in the Garden Center Follow safety practices and report unsafe conditions Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Personable, outgoing, eager to learn nursery skills; enthusiastic and self-motivated.
