As an Appliance and Installation Sales Specialist, you'll engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences and budget while providing expert service and recommendations, both in stores and in their homes. You'll provide expertise and design proposals to customers seeking premium appliance solutions. You'll then ensure products are delivered and installed, including post-sale support and follow-up. You'll also partner with outside sales to coordinate all aspects of each project from beginning to end. In this role, you'll work across a local micro-market of Best Buy stores.What you'll doMaintain expert-level knowledge of all products in the appliance category, including specifications, features and benefitsAchieve appliance sales targetsResolve customer inquiries, complaints and returns in a professional mannerProvide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, including customer feedback and market trendsPrioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines, and use available resources to manage time effectivelyMaintain appliance department merchandizing and organizationBasic qualifications2 years of customer relationship management experience or military service equivalent2 years of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service or related fields2 years of sales experience in specialty products, luxury brands, custom design or premium products or military service equivalentCurrent, valid driver's licenseBe at least 21 years of ageHave and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hirePreferred qualificationsPrevious experience driving strategic business initiatives2 years of experience in project management2 years of leadership experience in business, military or related fieldsWhat's in it for youWe're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
