- Earn between $20-$22/hr and Typical shifts are between 7am-1pm for breakfast and lunch. Needs to be available for weekends and holidays. We anticipate the position to be filled by 9/30/2025 for the winter season.
Job Summary:
The AM Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning cooking utensils, and ensuring that kitchen areas and equipment are properly sanitized. This role may also assist with food preparation tasks such as cutting, chopping, and cleaning food items, and may support line cooks during breakfast, lunch and banquet functions.
- Dishwashing & Cleaning: Wash, sanitize, polish, and store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Food Preparation Assistance: Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping vegetables, fruits, meats, and seafood.
- Workstation Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and food prep areas, ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards.
- Waste Management: Dispose of garbage, recycling, and compost in the appropriate bins, ensuring the work area remains clean and tidy throughout the shift.
- Storage: Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools in their designated locations.
- Supplies Management: Ensure dishwashing area is stocked with necessary supplies, such as detergent, sanitizing agents, and cleaning cloths. Inform manager when low to re-order.
- Team Collaboration: Assist kitchen team members with various tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and move throughout shifts.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
