OPEN TO LOCAL AND NON-LOCAL CANDIDATES. IF SELECTED CANDIDATE IS OUTSIDE OF CA AND OUTSIDE OF PG&E SERVICE TERRITORY THE RESPECTIVE SUPPLIER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LAPTOP. ASSIGNMENT IS MAINLY REMOTE BUT THERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE ON-SITE BUT NOT A MANDATED AMOUNT OF TIME. ANY ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED WILL BE PROVIDE BY RESPECTIVE SUPPLIER. IF AN ONSITE VISIT TO AN ENERGIZED FIELD IS REQUIRED(NOT ANTICIPATE), PG&E WILL PROVIDE PPE.

Partner with SID and SMEs to conceptualize training design and content.
" Define learning objectives, course structure, learning content and assessments.
" Complete detailed analysis of existing content and each task to be trained/supported for target audience, business process, and systems.
" Follow company standards, guidelines, and templates to develop learning materials including student and facilitator presentations and guides, activities, scenarios, and assessments. Create instructional graphics, scenarios, or interactions.
" Write clear and effective instruction and facilitator text appropriate for the target audience.
" Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with subject matter experts including task analysis, alpha, beta, and answer validation meetings. It would be beneficial if you are in the Northern California/San Francisco area but not required.
" Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation. Receive and incorporate feedback. Self-manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables. Proactively communicate issues and risks.
Required Skills
" 3+ years' experience developing instructor-led, eLearning, or virtual training in a technical environment.
" Comfortable and capable of working on a High Performing Team.
" Experience with technical writing.
" Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
" Very strong Task Analysis knowledge and capability.
" Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
" Flexibility to work on simultaneous development efforts, as needed.
Highly Desired
" Safety knowledge strongly desired.
" Knowledge of QuestionMark and Author-it.
" Experience developing training for utility industry.
