Why Cardiology Consultants Implantable Device Department? You will oversee the daily operations of the implantable Device Department at Cardiology Consultants, Heart and Vascular Specialty. You will ensure all patient and providers needs are met. This includes collaborating with IT on Paceart Software implementation, tagging patient calls, scheduling and registering patients, and providing education and troubleshooting of remote monitoring.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm Travel to other locations as needed
Duties & Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant II will be involved in administrative and clerical support for the Implantable Device Department and ambulatory clinics, including scheduling templates, EMR and Paceart data entry, insurance authorizations for implanted loop recorders, and auditing patient and provider messages in Cerner. The role ensures compliance with Health system procedures and maintains the Paceart software system. The Administrative Assistant II will process billing, and allocating remote encounters, collaborating with the Clinical Lead to ensure appropriate coverage of EP clinics. As the Administrative Assistant II must demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to patients with CIED, including remote monitoring education and troubleshooting.

Education Requirements: High School Graduate or GED required. Four years progressively responsible clerical or administrative assistant experience. Experience in medical office setting preferred Some exposure in a clinical practice setting is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
