We are looking for a detail-oriented accounts payable clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Nipomo, California. Responsibilities:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company standards.
- Perform check runs and reconcile payments to vendor accounts.
- Review and verify invoice information for accuracy before posting.
- Maintain detailed records of accounts payable transactions and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
- Ensure timely processing of payments to maintain good vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounts payable procedures.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
- Monitor and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
- Familiarity with invoice coding and processing systems.
