Healthcare Foundation Job Summary The Accountant Sr - Foundation has operational accountability for aligning financial strategy with donor stewardship and organizational mission. This role blends traditional finance oversight with donor engagement and accountability to ensure accurate and timely execution of financial processes and controls driving the completion of key tasks in support of the Foundations goals. This is a part-time position at 32 hours per week. Required Qualifications - Require a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or other finance-related field. - Require a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in an accounting/corporate finance capacity, preferably in fund accounting. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer experience working in a nonprofit organization with familiarity in nonprofit finance and accounting, including grant and gift processing of a foundation. - Prefer demonstrated ability in applying and implementing GAAP guidance as well as knowledge of nonprofit regulatory reporting requirements. - Prefer strong computer skills, including spreadsheet programs, word processing, database programs, and various Microsoft applications, as well as experience with Blackbaud software. - Prefer working knowledge of fund accounting principles, including the management and reconciliation of restricted, designated, and endowment funds. - Prefer strong written and oral communications skills at all levels throughout the organization. - Prefer demonstrated ability to prepare budgets and translate complex financial data. #J-18808-Ljbffr
