Role involves working with multiple nonprofit clients, both virtually and on-site, interacting with clients, staff, boards of directors, and finance committees. Responsibilities Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations Monthly financial statements and related analyses Grant tracking and monitoring Cash flow projections and monitoring Preparation for outside audits Qualifications Bachelors degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus Intermediate Excel skills Willingness to travel to client offices as needed when it is safe to do so Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required Part-time employees are expected to work during normal business hours to best serve clients Benefits and Compensation Starting hourly rate: $30 to $45 per hour (non-exempt position); total compensation may include overtime pay and bonuses Professional development reimbursement and technology stipend Hybrid work environment with both on-site and remote opportunities Flexible work schedule; standard full-time 35-hour work week available with eligibility for paid overtime for non-exempt employees 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Other benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and supplemental options for full-time staff Additional Details Pro-rated vacation and sick time for part-time roles; eligibility for supplementary benefit options; company-provided laptop and technology stipend.
