3rd Shift Behavioral Health Technician
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 10:30 pm - 8:00 am Location: Asheville, NC
Benefits: PTO/Sick Time accrual from first day Medical/Dental/Vision benefits Company funded life insurance Retirement plan & company match Free Meals Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour and increases based on experience Increase in hourly pay with the BHT certification Responsibilities Assists in supporting residents in their recovery plans and goals Responsible for observation, reporting, and management of residents in the overnight hours Completes bed checks and documentation Observes and conducts urine drug samples & breathalyzers as needed Observes self-administration of medication and signs medical administration record to document medication compliance Transports residents to early coordinated offsite appointments, the hospital, or urgent as needed Supervises all resident activities and completed incident reports as needed Facilitates cleaning and organization with overnight awake staff Acts as the lead for any crisis management situations Qualifications Candidates need to be at least 21 years old with an acceptable driving record to be on CooperRiis driver insurance Behavioral Health Technician certificate preferred Previous experience working in a residential community or transitional living program preferred
