Slabe Machine Products is looking for a 2nd shift CNC Supervisor/CNC Programmer ! Have you worked as a Lead CNC Machinist in the past and are looking to advance? We would love to speak with you! The ideal candidate will be able to supervise 20+ production employees in a CNC Machining facility. Maintain a positive working environment and coach individuals to succeed.The programmer will be responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming Multi-Axis - Turn Mill machines, and setting up and adjusting the settings of the machine.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the technical team to establish the processes for manufacturing complete parts, including fixture design/work holding and tool selection. Utilize CAM software in developing CNC programs as routed on Process Engineering Drawings. Check completed programs by running the process simulation / full machine. Maintains a positive, team environment relationship with employees by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Supervise milling employees' cycle time, scrap/rework, and tooling issues. Skills Knowledge and Expertise 3-5 Experience in machining and setup preferred. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a machining production environment- a plus. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MRP/ERP systems. Above-average aptitude and ability to interpret spreadsheets. 5 years min experience in CNC programming. 5 years' experience using the latest revision of CAD/CAM programming software (Mastercam). 5 years min experience in CNC machining for complex parts. Excellent blueprint reading skills & thorough understanding of GD&T. Benefits 401(k) with a company match of up to 6%.
