About the Internship

As a member of our front office staff, you'll work alongside full-time team members and take on meaningful responsibilities that directly impact the success of the season. In addition to office-based projects, interns gain hands-on experience by working home games and other events at WellSpan Park, applying what they've learned to real game day situations. This includes engaging with fans, assisting in retail operations, and helping deliver a safe, fun, and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our gates.

Duration: Approximately March 1 - September 30 Compensation: $1000 monthly stipend Eligibility: Must be a recent college graduate Housing: Not provided, but we will assist interns in finding housing and/or roommates if needed Key Responsibilities Manage the First Capital Federal Credit Union Team Store during all home games and coordinate non-game day hours as directed by the Director of Ticket and Retail Operations. Become the organization's expert in Squareup retail software to maximize efficiency, sales, and revenue. Oversee merchrev.com as the online content manager, driving both online and in-person sales. Schedule, train, and supervise team store staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with inventory management, including counting, barcoding, storage, display, and purchasing of retail products. Gather and analyze customer feedback to guide merchandise selection and improve the shopping experience. Collaborate with the Marketing Director to design retail offerings, including opportunities to create original merchandise designs. Promote merchandise through creative campaigns, social media content, and unique in-store initiatives to boost sales and engagement. Research retail industry trends and implement effective strategies to increase revenue and awareness of York Revolution products. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. Handle cash settlements, daily sales reporting, and supervise shipping or pick-up of online orders. All team members of the York Revolution contribute to event operations, which includes some physical tasks as part of creating the best fan experience possible. A creative thinker with an interest in merchandise design, marketing, and implementing innovative sales strategies. A detail-oriented problem solver who can manage inventory, sales reporting, and online operations with accuracy and efficiency.
