About the Role
Our client is seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to join their growing team in Mequon, WI. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts with precision and efficiency. You'll collaborate with engineers, leads, and fellow operators to troubleshoot issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, turning, and cutting operations.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.
Perform inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Conduct routine maintenance and assist in troubleshooting machine/tooling issues.
Document productivity, report part shortages, and communicate workflow disruptions.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety and 6S procedures.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or Operator in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform tasks for extended periods.
Attention to detail and commitment to minimizing scrap and maximizing quality.
