We are seeking an Associate-level or Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LAC, LCSW, LASW, LMFT, LAMFT) to join our innovative and rapidly expanding family practice. Seeking a therapist proficient in empirically based counseling modalities applicable across all developmental stages, from childhood through adulthood. You’ll work alongside Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Case Managers and fellow therapists to provide comprehensive mental health care to our patients.


JOB DUTIES

  • Therapeutic Services: Provide individual and family therapy to patients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to address a range of mental health and emotional issues.
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient’s mental health needs and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed on patient progress and feedback.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough, accurate and timely documentation of interactions, treatment plan notes in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners and case managers to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care coordination.
  • Patient Support: Offer empathetic and supportive care to patients, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and achieve therapeutic goals. Demonstrate sensitivity and respect in all patient interactions.
  • Crisis Management: Address and manage patient crises effectively, ensuring patient safety and well-being in emergency situations.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in therapeutic practices, mental health research and relevant legislation. Participate in ongoing training, workshops and professional development opportunities.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all applicable local, state and federal regulations and organizational policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and ethical guidelines.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Master's degree or higher in Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.


Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in behavioral health, with direct experience in group/individual therapy, crisis intervention, trauma and substance abuse.


License:

Must possess an associate or independent Arizona State Behavioral Health License as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is Active.


Preferred

  • Experience working with Substance Use Disorders
  • Experience with the SMI population and working with MercyCare - RBHA
  • Experience with EMDR
  • Experience with EMR charting, AthenaNet or NextGen a plus
  • Computer literate-Word, Excel, PowerPoint a must
  • Spanish speaking/writing a plus

Typical work schedule is flexible, between the hours of Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
